Notice of Financial Incentive
The Wetzel’s Pretzels Rewards Program (the “Program”) offers financial incentives to Program members as a thank you for their patronage.
To participate in the Program, no purchase is necessary, but you will need to download our app or sign-up online and agree to the Wetzel’s Pretzels, LLC Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy. When you sign up for the Wetzel’s Pretzels Rewards, you allow us to collect and retain personal information about you. This personal information may include the categories of personal information listed in our Privacy Policy, such as general identifiers, financial data and commercial information history.
You may opt-out of or withdraw from the Program at any time by deleting your account through the “Profile” page within the mobile app, e-mailing customerservice@wetzels.com or calling (888) 887-2108. This opt-out is separate from any other opt-out rights your local law may afford you under our Privacy Policy, so you will need to opt-out separately from the Program. If you opt-out we will not reduce the value of any financial incentives you previously received from us.
Wetzel’s Pretzels Rewards members earn points corresponding to the amount they spend. Currently our program awards 1 point for every $1 spent (each point = $0.10) and a gift on the program member’s birthday. Points are then redeemable for our products. Different products require different point totals.
There is no direct correlation between any one or more categories of personal data we collect to permit membership in our Program, and the price or services we offer. Our good-faith estimate of the value of Program members’ personal Information to Wetzel’s Pretzels, LLC, is calculated by using the expense related to the benefit. In other words, if you spend money to earn enough points to receive a free product, the value to us of your personal information collected as part of the Program is generally estimated as ((the amount you spent for points) minus (the cost of the free product you earned)) minus (the expense to us of operating the program for you)). The value of Program benefits to members varies significantly, as individual members take advantage of Program benefits to different degrees.
15 points = one free dip (~$0.13 value per point redeemed).
25 points =one free fresh or frozen lemonade (~$0.22 value per point redeemed).
40 points = one free Original or Sinful Cinnamon Pretzel (~$0.11 value per point redeemed).
60 points = one free order of Bitz (original, gourmet or pizza), Dog Bites (original or cheesy), or Wetzel Dog (original or cheese) (~$0.11 value per point redeemed).
100 points = $10 off your next order (~$0.10 value per point redeemed)
